Today's Technology
Native American TechnologyArmor for the Wampanoag was minimal to nonexistant. They were able to travel silently in their clothes but had little protection against gunfire. However, with their silent movements gave them an advantage over the noisy colonists.
The Wampanoag used war hammers, like the one pictured above, as well as bow and arrows and muskets.

Plymouth Colonists TechnologyThe colonists wore heavy metal, or sometimes ox skin cloth, armor to protect them from bullets and arrows. However, when fighting in the forest the armor gave away their position because of the noise but many men were saved from major injury by wearing it.
The colonists used matchlock rifles that took a long time to reload and the burning wick wasn't functional in wet or windy weather.
